I’ve just registered a new domain name. How soon can I can use it?
Upon registration of a new domain, it will take approximately 24 hours for the domain name server to propagate world wide.

.my domain names take approximately 24 hours or the next business day to propagate.

Your domain name will be ready to use 24 hours after you make the necessary name server (DNS) changes to your domain.

What is involved in registering a domain name ?
To register a domain name, we will need your personal information such as company name (if any), address, email and contact number. For .com.my domain name, MYNIC requires the company’s ROC (Registrar of Company) number.

I registered my domain today. I’ve also paid and received confirmation that it has been processed. But when I do a WHOIS, it says that my domain is available.
The WHOIS database is only updated once in about 24 to 48 hours, so your domain will continue to show 'available' until the next update. However, rest assured that it is already registered.

Supporting documents required for standard .my domain reqistration
Here are the supporting documents required for a standard registration. For the full and complete list, please refer to the MYNIC website. For individuals who want to register personal domain names, please refer to MYNIC's website FAQ - About Personal Domain Names.
