Outlook Express Message Headers

1. Open Outlook.
2. From your inbox, locate the message you'd like to view headers for.
3. Right-click the message, and select 'Properties.'
4. Open the 'Details' tab in the dialogue box.

* The full headers will appear in the dialogue box.

Outlook 2000 Message Headers

1. Open Outlook.
2. Open the message you'd like to view headers for.
3. Click the 'View' menu, and select 'Options...'

* The full headers will appear in a new window.

Mozilla Message Headers

1. Open Mozilla.
2. Open the message you'd like to view headers for.
3. Click the 'View' menu, and select 'Message Source.'

* The full headers will appear in a new window. 

Webmail Clients

Gmail Message Headers

1. Log in to your Gmail account.
2. Open the message you'd like to view headers for.
3. Click 'More options' next to the 'To:' field.
4. Click 'Show original.'

* The full headers will appear in a new window.

Hotmail Message Headers

1. Log in to your Hotmail account.
2. Click 'Options' next to the tabs.
3. Click 'Mail Display Settings' under 'Mail Options.'
4. Select 'Full' or 'Advanced' under the 'Message Headers' section, and click 'OK.'

* The full headers for all of your messages will now be available. Return to your inbox, and open the message you'd like to view headers for.

Yahoo! Mail Message Headers

1. Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account.
2. Open the message you'd like to view headers for.
3. Click 'Full Headers' at the top of your message.

* The full headers will appear above the message text.
